Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Boy Who Could Fly
Milly is a high school student who moves to a new town with her recently-widowed mother and her younger brother. The adjustment to a new school and home is hard for her. She meets her next door neighbor Eric, an autistic boy her age who hasn't spoken since his parents died in a plane crash when he was young. Eric spends his days on the roof with his arms
stretched out, pretending he can fly, and making paper airplanes. Can Milly become the only person to get through to this mysterious boy?
