| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Shadow Of Fear |
Matthew Davis stars as Harrison French, a young man who's having touble closing financial deals and has to rely on his wifes father to pay their mortgage. After a bad night of not closing the deal, Harrison leaves and is driving in a bad rain storm when he runs a man over. He struggles over what to do, but eventually drags the body into the bushes away from the road. While watching the news the next day, Harrison see a report of a bank robber who fits the description of the man he ran over. Harrison then goes back to where he covered the body and sees that it is the man who robbed the bank. Under much stress Harrison meets with William Ashbury (James Spader), a corrupt lawyer with connections, to hopefully help with his problem. Ashbury has Harrison put some money in a locker and then fixes it so that it looks like the dead robber's partner took off with it. But this doesnt fly with Detective Scofield (Aidan Quinn) who has evidence that proves Harrison was there. The twist comes when Harrsion visits with Ashbury and finds that the body they thought was his drug addict brother-in- law Chris Henderson, the person Harrison thought he killed, was indeed alive. Ashbury then wants Harrison to kill the real Chris but Detective Scofield figures everything out in time to save the day.
