Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Naked Edge
THE NAKED EDGE, which is the last film of Gary Cooper, was directed by Michael Anderson (Logan's Run) in 1961.

George Radcliffe witnesses the murder of his boss and testifies in court against his colleague Donald Heath although Heath claims his innocence. The loot of £60'000 has also disappeared. Heath is sentenced to life in jail.

Five years later, Radcliffe has become a wealthy businessman in the City thanks to hazardous but beneficial operations at the stock market. One day, he receives a letter, mailed four years earlier, which accuses him of the murder of his boss. The letter is signed by the washout lawyer Jeremy Clay. Radcliffe's wife, Martha, is distracted by the content of this letter, that confirms her own unsaid thoughts.

Radcliffe's behaviour and explanations don't restore Martha's confidence and, soon, suspicion disquiets this once happy couple. Both will separately conduct their own inquiries and try to find out what has really happened on the night of the murder.
