Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Woman Is the Future of Man
WOMAN IS THE FUTURE OF MAN (Yeojaneun namjaui miraeda) is a Korean movie written and directed by Sang-soo Hong in 2004.

After a long professional stay in the U.S.A., Kim Hyeon-gon returns home and visits his friend Lee Mun-ho. After a few drinks, they decide to search for Park Seon-hwa who was Kim's girlfriend when he left Korea. Abroad, Kim had forgotten Park and never written to her. Both friends find Park and spend the night with her, drinking and discussing. During this evening, Kim realizes how bad he has hurt Park's feelings by breaking up their relationship in such an unladylike way. He apologizes to the young woman and, the next morning, hopes to rekindle their former relations.
