Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Entre Nous
ENTRE NOUS (Coup de Foudre) is a French movie written and directed by Diane Kurys in 1983.

Lena and Madeleine meet by chance when their respective children play in the same stage play at school. From this first moment on, they get on together perfectly. During the next months, Lena, Madeleine and their husbands Michel and Costa, spend most of their free time with one another. Both women understand little by little that they are meant to live together and they dream about opening a clothing store. When Lena starts to neglect her children and lie to her husband in order to spend more time with Madeleine, Michel forbids her from seeing her friend again. Lena decides then to leave him and join up with Madeleine.
