Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Changing Times
CHANGING TIMES (Les Temps qui changent) is a French movie cowritten and directed by André Téchiné in 2004.

The setting is Tangiers, Morocco. Antoine Lavau is in charge of the construction site of an industrial estate. He's waited for years for the opportunity to be sent to Tangiers by his employer because he knew that his first love Cécile lived there. And, for thirty years, Antoine Lavaux has lived with only one idea in his mind : to find Cécile and convince her to spend the rest of their lives together.

Cécile is married to Natan and the couple is at present hosting their only son Sami who's just come from Paris with his girlfriend. Sami is bisexual and spends all his free time visiting Bilal, a guy he used to know in France. When Antoine tells Cécile that he wants her to leave Natan, she violently rejects him. But she's finally touched by Antoine's romantic passion and she starts to think about the possibility to rekindle her old flame for him.
