| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Face |
FACE is an English movie directed by Antonia Bird in 1997.
Robert Carlyle and four other thieves steal $300,000 during a hold-up. They share the loot and separate. The next day, one of the partners, Dave, comes to Carlyle's and tells him that his share has been stolen during the night. A few moments later, Carlyle discovers that his money has also disappeared. It appears soon that all the members of the gang have been robbed during the night. Everyone suspects everyone until Carlyle understands that the man behind this situation is in fact Dave who needed the money to pay Chris, a policeman, who was blackmailing him. The whole gang must now find a way to recover the money which is hidden in a locker at the local police station.
