| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Battle of Britain |
In 1940, with Nazi Germany in control of the vast majority of Europe, The British, especially the RAF are forced into a desprate defense of the British Isles. The German Luftwaffa begins a massive bombing campaign and it is up to the RAF pilots to save England from total bombing becuase if the bombing succeeds, England will be invaded.
The film follows numerous real-life characters on both sides and shows the entire Battle of Britain, England's so called "Finest Hour" when the RAF desprately fought back the Luftwaffa to turn the tide of World War II.
