| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Eager Bodies |
Xavier Giannoli wrote and directed EAGER BODIES (Les Corps Impatients) in 2003.
Charlotte must go to Paris in order to have some medical examens. Doctors diagnose a lung cancer. Her boyfriend Paul has decided to stay with her in Paris during her chimiotherapy. Charlotte bears with difficulty her treatments and fears that Paul's love will fade as her body will little by little lose its desirability. When Charlotte notices that Paul is attracted by her cousin Ninon who uses to visit her at the hospital, she starts to become jealous. Ninon and Paul go out together but dare not tell the truth to Charlotte whose health is slowly breaking up.
