| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Saw II |
When the infamous serial killer Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) strikes once again, he deliberately draws Detective Eric Mathews (Donnie Wahlberg) into the case. Using the clues left behind by the murderer, Mathews easily traces him to his lair. But getting caught is all a part of Jigsaw's master plan.
On a series of monitors in the villain's hideout are scenes from a large, decrepit house, wherein eight people are imprisoned. One of those people is Detective Mathew's son Daniel (Erik Knudsen).
Now, the clock is ticking on the people inside the house as a nerve gas slowly seeps into their brains. Jigsaw claims that Mathews can have his son if he only sits and talks awhile. But can the detective, or the people in the house, wait?
