| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Shark Tale |
Oscar is a fish who lives a quiet life in the downtown ocean. He works at the Whale Wash with his “friend” Angie, dreaming of living large in the uptown. One day Oscars boss, Mr.Sikes, demanded that Oscar pay him 5000 clams of overdue loans. Because Oscar cannot, Mr. Sikes set his henchmen on Oscar and they take him out into a rural part of the ocean to kill him. There, Oscar ends up being freed by a vegetarian, nice, shark named Lenny, who is swimming with his brother Frankie. Right after Lenny frees Oscar, an anchor drops on Frankie and kills him. Back at the city, Oscar takes the credit for being a shark killer, and lies about how he killed Frankie. The one thing that Oscar does not realize is that the sharks are going to come after him because he killed one of their own. Now, he has to constantly watch his back and think of a plan.
