| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Death Walks at Midnight |
DEATH WALKS AT MIDNIGHT (La Morte accarezza a mezzanotte) was directed by the Italian director Luciano Ercoli in 1972.
Valentina is a model who agrees to experiment a new synthetic drug invented by a local doctor about whom the people journalist Gio Baldi wants to write an article. During the experimentation, Valentina sees the murder of a young woman by a killer with an iron glove. Once Baldi's article is released, Valentina is hunted by the man she saw in her hallucinations. She goes straight to inspector Seripa who doesn't believe her. Moreover, neither Baldi neither Valentina's ex-boy-friend Stefano seem to take her seriously. Now, Verushka Wuttenberg, the sister of a woman who was stabbed by the killer some years before, takes an interest in Valentina and drives her to the mental institution the killer is supposed to be locked in.
