SECRETS OF A CALL GIRL (Anna, quel particolare piacere) was directed by the Italian filmmaker Giuliano Carnimeo in 1973.
Anna, a young small-town girl, is seduced by Guido, a hoodlum, who brings her to Milan. Profoundly in love with Guido, Anna accepts soon to work as a high-class escort girl for him but when Guido is arrested and sentenced to six years of prison, a pregnant Anna leaves Milan and goes to Rome where she gets a job as a saleswoman. A few years later, she falls in love with Lorenzo, the doctor who's just operated her son. When things seem at last changed for the better for the young woman, Guido reappears and compels her to abandon her son and come back to Milan to work for him again. If she hadn't agreed to do so, he would have killed her child.
