Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Almost Human
ALMOST HUMAN (Milano odia: la polizia non puo sparare) was directed by the Italian director Umberto Lenzi in 1974.

Giulio Sacchi (Milian) takes part in a hold-up and kills a police officer while his accomplices are inside the bank. Although the gang manages to escape from the police force, Maione, Giulio's boss, blames Giulio for having lost his nerves. Humiliated, Giulio decides to kidnap Mary Lou Perrino, the girl of an industrialist, with the assistance of only two of his friends, Carmine and Vittorio. On drugs, Giulio kills the two old people who provide him the weapons he needs. Furthermore, during Mary Lou's kidnapping, her boy-friend is coldly assassinated as well as five other people Mary Lou asked for assistance during an escape attempt. During this time, inspector Walter Grandi (Silva) starts to suspect that all these violent deaths are bounded. When the ransom demand arrives in Perrino's hands, Perrino asks Grandi not to intervene. But Giulio Sacchi is, in any event, decided to kill the hostage in order not to leave behind him a witness who could testify against him.
