| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Black Belly of the Tarantula |
THE BLACK BELLY OF THE TARANTULA ( La Tarantola dal ventre nero) was directed by Paolo Cavara in 1971.
Inspector Tellini must investigate the murder of two young women who were first paralysed by a needle used by acupunctors before being stabbed by their murderer. Tellini suspects initially the husband of the first victim but this one is assassinated by an unknown who dies himself a few minutes later, crushed by a roadhog. Now, Tellini's only lead is the health care centre where the victims used to go.
