Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The New Eve
THE NEW EVE (La Nouvelle Čve) was written and directed by Catherine Corsini in 1998.

Camille is thirty years old, unmarried and has multiple sex adventures while searching for the man of her life. One day, she meets Alexis and falls in love with him. A few days later, she learns that Alexis is married and has two children. Camille becomes quickly a friend of the family and starts to see Ben, a man she met at Alexis's, for a while. Alexis finally falls in love with her and starts an extramarital relation with the young woman. Soon, Camille does not bear any more this uncomfortable situation. After a scene, she leaves Alexis, and, on impulse, decides to marry Ben.
