| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag |
When Rico and Benny (Anthony Mangano and Joe Basile), two mafiosi operating out of Mexico, rub out eight rivals, wiseguy Tommy Spinelli (Joe Pesci) is dispatched to bring the heads back to New York as proof.
At the California airport, however, Tommy accidentally switches duffel bags with college student Charlie (Andy Comeau), who is heading to Mexico to visit his fiancee Laurie (Kristy Swanson) and her parents Dick and Annette (George Hamilton and Dyan Cannon).
Using information gleaned from Charlie's bag, Tommy heads for his college, where he tortures Ernie and Steve (David Spade and Todd Louiso), two frat brothers, into revealing their friend's location, then stops by the school's cryonics lab to pick up some spare heads in case he can't recover the originals.
Hijinks ensue as Charlie attempts to keep the heads under raps, Annette suspects him of being a serial killer, Dick is implicated in the crime, Steve slowly loses his grip on reality, and Tommy goes to any means necessary to get those heads.
