| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Cadillac Man |
Slightly sleazy used car salesman Joey O'Brien's (Robin William) life is in meltdown. His married girlfriend (Fran Drescher) is pressuring him to commit, his other girlfriend (Lori Petty) is a clingy neurotic, his daughter (Tristine Skyler) is missing, he owes $20,000 to a mobster (Paul Herman), and, to top it all off, his boss (Bill Nelson) will fire him if he doesn't sell 12 cars in two days.
On the day of the dealership's biggest sale of the year, Larry (Tim Robbins), the cuckolded husband of the boss' secretary (Annabella Sciorra), crashes through the window with an assault rifle and a bomb and takes everyone hostage.
Now, Joey has to put his skills into overdrive to sell Larry on the idea of letting him and the rest of the hostages go, before the cops come crashing in and they all die.
