A determined young Italian man ostracized in Colorado for his ethnicity and he decides to move to L.A. this movie is a story of a young man, who in the late 1930's wants to become a novelist and find a blonde, and he falls in love with a Mexican waitress.
LA a place of heat and dust, with people from everywhere in the world searching for health and wealth, fame and fortune. LA is the city of first and last resort, where all dreams are believed to come true.
So Arturo Bandini son of Italian immigrants who dreams of becoming a famous novelist and marrying a beautiful blonde goes to LA and Camilla Lopez a Mexican also went to LA, who longs to marry a WASP and shed her last name.
