Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Art of Dying
In one of the seamier neighborhoods of L.A., psycho filmmaker Roscoe Went (Gary Werntz) is killing aspiring actors and actresses in re-enactments of famous movie death scenes. His motive? He is producing a cinema verite film entitled "The Art of Dying."

Tough cop Jack (Wings Hauser) doesn't know any of that. But when a would-be actress-turned-hooker (T.C. Warner) that he thought he'd rescued turns up dead, he takes it personally and resolves to find the killer.

When Jack's prime suspect, a pimp (Mitch Hara) who happens to be Roscoe's gay lover, gets run over by a few cars, he thinks he's solved the case. But a couple more victims prove him wrong, and he is suspended from the force.

When Roscoe goes after Jack's live-in girlfriend (Kathleen Kinmont), however, nothing can stop him from taking on the madman in a final battle.
