| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Accepted |
The main story of this movie “Accepted” is bunch of high school kids, who opens up their own college after getting rejection letters from all the colleges they applied for.
Bartleby "B" a High school senior gets eight out of eight rejection letters from colleges, which is not going to be ok with his Mom and Dad. But he is at least not alone in getting rejected from colleges, several of his team of outcast friends are in the same, college-less boat.
So how does B facing a miserable career please his parents and at the same time get noticed by his dream girl Monica? It's Simple, B open his own university, along with his team of misfit freshmen take, "liberal" arts literally and they fool their parents and peers and create the esteemed “South Harmon Institute of Technology”.
B and his friends realized that they had done their jobs too well that dozens of other college rejects show up for classes at their college. B and his friends forge ahead with their fake functioning college. B tries to hard to keep out of jail while he strives to get the girl; impresses his parents and just become "Accepted."
B gets the girl, beautiful Monica (Blake Lively) and she joins South Harmon without any doubt. Then Bartleby gets the chance to say things like “It's not just about us anymore!”. South Harmon gives out acceptance letters and B is now the administrator of a school that doesn't actually exist. His student body is ex-strippers, a police line up of surfers, ADD basket cases, and thugs.
