Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Point Blank
A normal guy, Walker, tries to help his friend, Reese, steal some money to buy his way back into a criminal organization. After they get the money, Reese shoots Walker, leaves him for dead and runs off with Walker's wife, his lover.
Walker lives and wants revenge and his half of the money. With the help of a cop he finds his wife, Lynn. She informs him that Reese left her. Later that night she kills herself.
Through an errand boy Walker learns about a member of the organization, a car salesman, John. Walker scares John into giving him the info that Reese has the hots for Lynn's sister, Chris.
Working together, Chris distracts Reese while Walker sneaks into his heavily guarded penthouse. After Reese gives Walker some names they struggle and Reese falls over the balcony to his death.
Walker confronts one of the men, Carter, who agrees to pay him. However, it's a set-up. But instead of Walker being killed the sniper accidentally kills Carter.
Next, Walker sets his sights on the last guy, Brewster, who agrees to help Walker get the money. However, Brewster also gets killed by the sniper who, as it turns out, works for the head of the organization, who turns out to be the cop that's been helping Walker, and in turn, helping himself by letting Walker kill everybody in the organization that he wanted dead.
