Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Heavenly Kid
In the early 1960s, Bobby Fontana has the James Dean like persona who can attract the girls easily to him. Also risky, he decided to get involved in a drag race with another guy. Seeing who can first get out of the car before their vehicle goes over the cliff, Bobby is not so lucky as his sleeve gets stuck in the car door where he falls to his death. It takes him awhile to find out he is not a physical being anymore. Bobby finally realize he entered a spiritual realm and eager to get Uptown. But heaven will wait for him until he completes a special task assigned by his guardian angel. Fast forward twenty-something years later, he has to help his geeky son Lenny to gain more confidence with women.
