Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Paulie
Paulie is a talking parrot who can speak, not mimic, but actually converse. Paulie doesn't know how to lie and the problem is that he learned to talk but he doesn't know when to shut up, and he comes to find out that there are times when talking can get you into trouble. This is a sweet and heartwarming movie, this movie has very sad moments too when Marie's parents take Paulie away from her and she had to let go of Paulie. This movie is rated PG for brief mild language and was filmed in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Paulie's first owner is a little girl named Marie who raises him from a baby. Marie a little girl with speak problems. Paulie Help Marie to talk because he himself learned while she was.

Marie's parents send Paulie away when they feel she is becoming too attached to him. But the loyal little parrot begins a tenacious cross-country search to find his young owner Marie.

Along the way, Paulie meets some unique cross-section of people, some who really want to help and some who wanted to help themselves with the extraordinary bird.
