| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Running Scared |
(Paul Walker) plays Joey Gazelle, a mob gangster and his life is basically based on shooting people. This time, Joey has done a job. He disposed of some dirty cops and was told by his boss to get rid of his gun as soon as possible. Joey was supposed to throw the gun in the river near by, but instead he goes in hides in a wall of his basement.
Joey also has a family,he has a wife (Vera Farmiga) and a ten year old son (Alex Neuberger). His son has a best friend Oleg (Cameron Bright). One day Oleg and Joey's son sneaked up on Joey and saw him hiding snub-nosed .38 gun in the basement. Oleg decided to steal the gun and to shoot his stepfather (Karel Roden), his step father has been really abusive to him. His step father is a nephew of a Russian mob boss (John Noble). And he does a lot of business with Joey. Later, it turn out that one of the cops Joey shot happens to survive and is after him. Joey gets in a chasing life style and has got a lot of enemies, how to get out of that is only up to him.
