| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot! |
Tough police detective Joe Bomowski recently split with girlfriend and boss Lieutenant Gwen Harper. Comfortable enough with his new bachelorhood, things turn around when Joe's mom Tutti comes from New Jersey to visit her "Little Joey" in Los Angeles. Tutti is a loving mother- perhaps too much as she constantly cleans her son's apartment; tell him what to do or what not to do, showing photos of her adult son as a baby boy in diapers to a stewardess on a plane. She also find much enjoyment in playing a relationship coach to patch things up with Joe and his former love Gwen.
All of Tutti annoying antics embarasses Joe but Momma Bomowski takes things to another notch as she cleans Joe's revolver with detergent. Now that she damaged his gun she wants to suprise him with another one for his upcoming birthday. Tutti couldn't find the specific one needed at the gun shop; so she opted to buy one off the streets by two men in a alley. After purchasing the gun, Tutti is in the middle of a crossfire as a speeding car comes into the alley and kill the two men. Now a witness of a crime scene, she report the news at her son's police station-not telling any of the officers but only to Joe.
This is her way to get more involved in her son's life; even if it means risking her own life by partnering with her son and his dangerous job. Brave Momma Bomowski is now ready to take down the murderers with Joe. The question is will Joe is able to stop the men while his meddling mom is tagging along?
