Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Freddy Got Fingered
Gord Brody is a odd 28 year old living in his parent's basement in Portland Oregon. Brody knows he is destined to be a big time animator one day, since he spends some of his time drawing cartoons. Apparently his aspiration is not enough for his dad Jim, who demands that his son get a job, be a real man and get off his bottom to find his own place. Brody wises up and heads to LA to find work as a cartoonist meanwhile, working at a cheese sandwich factory. The zany Brody does the most insane thing as standing up on the conveyor belt swinging a samali (as if he were demonstrating it as male genital). Fellow co-workers ingores Gordy anyway despite his questionable antic.

While taking a lunch break on the job, Gord decide to spend his time going to a studio; Radioactive Animation to show some of his artistic talents. The boss isn't at the studio but to get past the boss secretary, Gord lies about her boss (David Davidson) wife just been killed. Somehow among her wailing about the wife's death and Gord seemlingly talking his crazy way into getting past the secretary, finally he meets up with Hollywood bigshot of Radio Animations at a restaurant. He yells his way through the place until he gets Davidson's attention. Brody present his drawings to Davidson but his work isn't good enough to be in animation since it lacks a storyline and more importantly Davidson tells Gord he needs to "get inside the animal".

Down on his luck Gordy packs up, leaves LA and heads back home again. On his way home on the road he stumbles across a dead deer and does the most unimaginable thing. Gord literally acted on what Davidson advises him to do- sickly cuts the dead animal and wear its skin as if it were a coat. Gord is back at home in Portland squaring off with his dad while the two challenge each other in a swearing contest. The following day Brody visit a injured friend Darren at the hospital. At the hospital he see a pretty doctor named Betty and the two quickly make a connection. Later on the couple goes out on dates. But there is one weird encounter with Betty as she admitted to Gord she enjoys getting her paralyzed legs beaten with a stick.

On the other side of this Gord and his parents visit a family counselor. The father and son is arguing again until Gordy does the unexpected, and boldly lied about his 25 year old brother Freddy being sexually molested by their father. The counselor is gullible enough to believe the story. Soon after the social worker goes to the Brody's home with a police taking the adult Freddy knowing his age. Daddy Brody is just about steamed now and things doesn't look well for the jobless Gord.
