| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Undefeated |
After the Civil War an ex-Union Colonel, John, and his troops drive a herd of horses to Mexico to sell them to the unpopular Mexican Army. Along the way, they encounter an ex-Confederate Colonel, James, leading his troops and some civilians to Mexico for a fresh start after they lost their homes to carpetbaggers.
John and James are forced to join forces to fight off bandits and revolutionaries.
When James and his people arrive in Mexico they're taken prisoner by the revolutionaries. The leader of the revolutionary army forces James to get John to trade his horses for the prisoners.
John and his men agree to help James and his people. They turn the horses over and the prisoners are freed.
John and his men and James and his people return to America.
