| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Little Giants |
Kevin O'Shea, is a once popular football star in his town Urbania over twenty years ago. He lives the good life, have a loving wife, two daughters and runs a great car dealership business. On the opposite side is Kevin's brother Danny less well known and balancing the life of a single dad as his wife left him and their daughter years ago. Danny owns a service shop and making a decent living out of it. Danny's daughter Becky, a cheerleader has problems of her own as a tomboy doing cheerleqading routines yet dreams of playing a boy's "game" football.
On top of it all Kevin has been asked to coach a kiddie football team of his own. Without hesitating, he accept the job and take the role of a coach very serious and pick the best kids to become players on his team. His style of building the team is highly competitive and discriminating as he wants the perfect team with the perfect players and if any other kid doesn't resemble that, they is automatically dimissed from trying out. Danny is very unhappy about his more popular brother way of handling things and believe it to be unfair,
So Danny formed his own team of pee wees from Kevin "leftovers"; a bunch of outcasts and mainly Becky since she was shunned from making it in Kevin's team herself. The team have a lack of skills of actually making it so Danny call on some big shots, professional NFL players to help the kids pratice on their game skills. The kids makes a nice improvement but one more problem arise. There can be only one team in Urbania so the O'Shea brothers face off pitting each team against the others as they finally start to play football. Whoever wins gets to be the official team in the town. Would it be Kevin's little team of perfect players or Danny's upcoming little football stars?

Kevin O'Shea (Ed O'Neill) and his brother Danny (Rick Moranis) live in a small town called Urbania, Ohio. Kevin went on to play professional football, win a Heisman trophy, etc. He returns to Urbania after retirement and is coaching a pee-wee football team. When it comes time to choose the kids who tried out, he leaves out Becky, his niece even though she's one of the best players on the team. So Danny decides to start a rival team with Becky and all her other misfit friends. But for the upcoming tournament, a city is allowed only one team. So Kevin and Danny agree to a playoff between their two teams to determine who will represent the city. Kevin has all the good uniforms, the best equipment, and best field. Danny has nothing but kids with a lot of heart, a genius 12 year old to build plays, and his tomboy niece. The two teams try to sabotage each other and try to come up with a game plan, before they finally meet on the football field and come to a predictable result.
