| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Phffft! |
After several years of arguments and petty annoyances with one another, lawyer Robert and television writer Nina Tracey decided to make a mutual descision to end their marriage believing as they are not right for another. After signing the divorce papers, their romantic relationship may fizzled but the two divorcees decided to remain as platonic friends.
Robert confides to his womanizer buddy Charles Nelson as he knows how to win women over with his charamstic ways whereas Nina goes to her busybodied mother for direction as a bachelorette. The newly single Jack takes up with a blonde bombshell named Janis believing that he surely get over being married and divorced. Nina does the same thing as she finds handsome Charles Newton but only dates him briefly.
With Nina's failed relationship and Robert somewhat interest in Janis, somehow the former couple always bump into each other wherever they go, as it seems that something is telling them to give their relationship a second chance. Will Robert and Nina take each other back? Or do they defintely believe the grass is greener on the other side?
