Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Queen Bee
Eva Phillips has the southern grace and hospitatily towards all that don't know her. But underneath the warmth lies a cold-hearted indivdual around those that knows her well. Phillip's husand Avery "Beauty" can attest to Eva's wicked ways as she manipulates those around her, especially Jennifer, her innocent cousin that often works as a secretary to Eva than relative and company in her home.

Mrs. Phillips even stated that her naive cousin "is so quiet we ought to put a bell on" her". Those close to Eva often talk about how cruel she is behind her back, but Jenny isn't listening to no one's opinion of Eva depsite her arrogance, her wrongdoings to Beauty's family members, and their own children lack of respect of their nanny they often spits on. Jenny get to see the real side of her cousin as she slaps her around whenever she feels like it and get into squabbles with her husband's family members.

Between her temper tantrums and Mr. Phillips heavy drinking to escape the nightmare he married into, when things that already were bad just got worse. Eva hears that Beauty's sister Carol is about to get married and that is to a ex-lover of Eva named Judson. As expected, Eva is steamed about it and right front of Jennifer's presence, trashed the room Carol is staying and doing all sorts of things to Carol and Judson from getting married. But among the agony she put others through the verbal abuse and the air haughtiness about herself, she will reveal to Jennifer the real reason she acts the way she does, but with Eva being the way she is, will Jennifer buy it?
