| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Scared Stiff |
Nightclub busboy Myron Myron Mertz and his friend entertainment singer Larry Todd is on the run from angry mobsters. Todd is accussed of a murder he never committed and Mertz had a huge mishap among the mob that has him running for his life.
The two makes a escape from New York to a small island in Cuba. Thinking their problem is clearly solved, it has only begun when they meet heiress Mary Carol that tries a claim a huge castle inherited by her relatives. But Carol is warned to stay away from the building but she does the opposite and headed to Cuba anyway.
Bad guy Romon Cariso spots Todd, Mertz and Scott on the island and does just about everything to get them off. Trying to pass of the island as haunted, he sets up a a ghost, a zombie, and a mysterious assailant to scare them away. He does all of this because the castle is set upon heaps of hidden gold that he wants all for himself.
