| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Flushed Away |
Flushed Away is an animated cartoon movie made beneath the streets of London. This movie is about a pampered pet mouse called Roddy St. James (Hugh Jackman). Roddy thinks he got it all and his life is complete but when a low life sewer rat named Sid comes out of the stink, Sid (Shane Richie) decides that now its his turn to enjoy the lap of luxurious life.
Roddy wanted to get rid of Sid so he makes a plan to dip him in the whirlpool to send him back where he came from but Roddy's plan backfires as he unintentionally winds up being the one flushed away into the world down below. In the underground world he discovers a huge city. Roddy meets Rita (Kate Winslet) in the underground city. Rita seems to have a mission of her own, she joins Roddy and they both want to get out of that place but there is just one problem, they have to escape the clutches of the wicked Toad (Ian McKellen), who used to be Prince Charles' pet and who regally hates all rodents and has send out two unlucky henchrats named Spike and Whitey to literally freeze Roddy and Rita.
This movie is rated PG for crude humor and some language. This movie is also known as “Ratropolis”.
