Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Seems Like Old Times
Nick Gardenia is a California writer, busy with his work until he gets a suprise greeting at his front door- two robbers points a gun at Gardenia, demanding that he rob a bank with them or else he will never see the light of day again. The trio goes to the nearest bank where the robbers orders Nick to hand the teller a note.

The teller does what she is told as he got the money- no problem right? Sadly there is because the robbers ran off and even worse, there is a security camera that filmed Nick's entire stick up and now he is a wanted man. Scared for a second that the police is now on the lookout for him he runs to a person that anyone would lastly expected- his ex wife Glenda Parks. Glenda is a lawyer that is known for taking in strayed animals that is kept under her care. Gardenia makes a run to Glenda's home to ask her to keep him safe.

Feeling a bit weary at first about a "fugitive" staying at her place, because she feels he should turn himself to the police, the lawyer grows a soft spot for the now troublesome Nick and let him stay. Now Glenda's home is a hideout but more drama appears as her straight-laced district attorney husband Ira has no pity for those with the likes of Nick and Glenda knows it. Ira wants to impress the government by capturing Nick so he can be the best state attorney around. Glenda now have to hide her ex husband from her current one; keeping the lawyer on her toes to keep the peace around her house. Also she is working at getting Nick's name cleared before her husband get to him first.
