| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Clean, Shaven |
Written and directed by Lodge H. Kerrigan in 1993. Peter Winter suffers from acute schizophrenia. He also believes that someone has put a microphone under his nails and a receptor in his skull as uninterrupted auditory hallucinations pass through his brain. After having tried to eradicate it by mutilating himself, Peter heads towards his mom's house because he wants to see his daughter Nicole. His mother tells Peter that Nicole isn't with her anymore and that the little girl has been entrusted to an adoptive family.
Peter goes to the adoption agency but doesn't get any information there. He decides then to hide behind his mother's and waits. A few days later, Nicole and her adoptive mother, Melinda Frayne, visit Mrs. Winter. Peter manages to talk with Nicole and both decide to go to the beach. Meanwhile, private detective Jack McNally is investigating the murder of a little girl in the surrounding area. He finds clues on the crime scene and wants to compare them with the hints left by Peter in a motel. But Jack McNally finds Peter and Nicole before having received the results from the laboratory.
