Christina Walters has a golden rule of dating and that is to avoid searching for Mr. Right and focus on Mr. Right Now. One night at a club Christina unexpectedly meets Peter but he goes away the next day. Christina breaks her golden rule and goes after Peter, as he is Mr. Right for Christina.
Christina asks her best friend Courtney to help her find Peter. Christina and Courtney break the golden rule and go on a road trip to find Peter. On the road trip they both Christina and Courtney come across numerous disasters along the way.
