Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Maltese Falcon
A private investigator is involved in a confusing case. Three people are all searching for one priceless statue, the maltese falcon. The P.I. is hired by a woman, but soon finds himself playing all three sides. After the P.I.'s partner is killed, the police begin poking around. The P.I. is being offered a lot of money, but not many answers to his questions. After the P.I. obtains the falcon, the three parties compromise. However, the falcon turns out to be a fake and all of the work and the trouble were for nothing.
