| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Modern Problems |
Air traffic controller Max Fielder's life is down in the dumps. He gets no respect from those who surround him and is very oveprotective of his girlfriend Darcy, so much that she dumps him for another man. This news sends Fielder in total devastation and makes it the icing on the cake for his already pathetic life. But one day Fields goes out for a drive to ease his mind when the unexpected happens- his car is covered with nuclear radioactive liquid from a government truck.
Some of the spill leaked on Fields, automatically giving him some sense of power he never had before: telekinesis. This is something that Fields celebrate over since it gives him the chance to control objects and even people. First, Fielders uses his newfound power on those that crossed him over many times throughout his life, but mainly to attract back Darcy so he can somehow get her back in his life.
Also any man that tries to date his ex-girlfriend will be overflow with problems so their best bet is to stay away from her, an example of one guy that goes on a date with Darcy suddenly has a severe nose bleed that embarasses him where he'd ended the date early. Fielders takes advantage of his power to the fullest, espsecially on his biggest competitior, author Mark Winslow, a jerk who wants to win Darcy's affections. Meanwhile Fielders goes to a beach party of a friend where his power goes a bit out of control. There, he meets a black magic priestess Dorita, who wants to help Max overcome using his power excessively before it backfires on him.
