Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Calling All Curs
Three nincompoops, Moe, Larry and Curly, are animal doctors and run an animal hospital. They treat Garcon, the prize winning poodle of a wealthy woman.
Garcon is dognapped. The dognappers leave a ransom note for the doctors to find.
The doctors find the note, but not wanting to get in trouble, they don't tell the woman. Instead, they get another dog and disguise it to look like Garcon by gluing black wool to it. They take it to the woman, but the maid accidentally vacuums the wool of it and exposes it as a fraud.
The doctors chalk it up as a mistake. They use the other dog to track the real Garcon to the dognappers' house. They break into the house and fight with the dognappers.
The dognappers are knocked out and Garcon is retrieved.
