Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Warrior and the Sorceress
This is "Yojimbo/Fistful of Dollars" in a fantasy/swordfihting setting. The mysterious stranger comes to a town with two warring factions and one well. He plays off one against the other untill pretty much everyone is dead. There's also something in here about a priestess and a powerul sword and some slavers. The swordfighting, especially between Carradine and DeLongis is very good. Trivia: Carradine wears these robes and sword in several other movies, including "Wizards of the Lost Kingdom II" and "Dune Warriors." Footage from this movie shows up in other bad fantasy movies, such as "Wizards of the Lost Kingdom II" and "Deathstalker IV."
