Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Abominable Dr. Phibes
Dr. Anton Phibes (Vincent Price) is a mysterious, eccentric ex-musician who goes on an obsessive rampage after his wife dies during a surgical procedure. He decides to ritualistically murder each doctor on his wife's surgical team one by one utilizing bats, locusts, and other imaginative techniques. Scotland Yard must scramble to figure out the pattern of murders and apprehend Phibes before he succeeds in wiping out the whole team of doctors. Great ending!
