Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Dragonheart
A dragon gives half his heart to a prince to save him, believeing the prince to be good. The prince however is a tyrant who makes his people suffer, and his mentor blames the dragons heart and sets out to kill all dragons. Through discovery and forming unlikely friendships the mentor and dragon fight for freedom and justice.

A mentor teaches his student the old code of honor. The student is injured, and in order to be saved, recieves the half heart of a dragon who tells him to follow the old code. The boy betrays the dragon and his mentor by going against the old code, and now the mentor and dragon work together to stop the evil exploits of the now grown boy.

A dragon gives half his heart to a dying prince,who later becomes a cruel tyrant. His teacher,a knight of the old code, goes on a rampage intent on killing all dragons because he believes the dragons heart poisoned the boy. He befriends Draco, the last dragon & together with the help of a monk and a village girl,they begin a "war" with "king"Einon(the prince). The king captures Draco realizing that he was the dragon who saved him. The knight finds the dragon & sets him free, but Einon, intent on keeping the dragon, tries to kill the knight.

A young prince is critically wounded and a dragon donates a piece of his heart to keep him alive. He grows up to become a cruel king and his best knight deserts to hunt dragons, whom he blames for the king's cruelty. The knight winds up befriending a dragon and a peasant girl, and is encouraged to lead a rebellion against this king. But there is a connection between the king and the dragon...
