| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Magic Stone |
An Irish slave to a Viking ship and his sister escape into North America, but she is killed. He happens to know how to use a quartz stone to find the sun on a hazy day. He befriends a local tribe. A viking goes after him to get the stone back, and winds up causing wars between the Natives and the Vikings. A pleasant little movie in which much time is spent in comparing the cultures of Native Americans and Medieval Irish.
