An excellent adaptation of E.M. Forster same name novel about how a wealthy busineesman(A.Hopkins) willing to do anything to protect of one his wife property namely a house named Howards End. He went to the extend of marrying a lower-class lady(E.Thompson) whom his died wife left the house to.
Story set in early 1900 England and won several Oscar including Best actress for Emma Thompson.
