Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Nine Months
Hugh Grants plays a selfish yuppie who has to grow up and accept responibility when his girlfriend, Julianne Moore gets pregnant.

He stumbles through a series of events that change him from scared boy to mature man willing to accept responsibility for his life and for his family.

This film is an uneven mix of comedy, drama and slapstick mixed with a sappiness that could only come from director, Chris Columbus. Very entertaining and sweet, not for the cynical or hard-of-heart.

--Ken Carper, Resident Scholar

Sam learns that his girlfriend is pregnant and he completely freaks out. He never wanted children and he doesn't exactly support her in her decision to keep the baby. Really funny. This movie also stars Robin Williams and Jeff Goldblum.
