This is a movie about a guy finding himself. Tommy Calahan's finds that he must go on the road to sell brake pads. Tommy is however ignorant to break pads, so is assisted by his Dad's right hand man, Richard. Tommy finally finds his knack for selling while on the road, but problems with his goldigging stepmom may have complicated things to a point of undoing.
