VIOLENT COP is the first movie, directed in 1989, of japanese actor/director Takeshi Kitano.
Kitano plays the character of a city cop who uses violence to get what he needs. Soon he has to deal with a case involving corrupted policemen, vicious killers and the local mobsters.
Excellent cop movie featuring a hero à la Harry Callahan. Highly recommended.
