| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Five Dolls for an August Moon |
5 DOLLS FOR AN AUGUST MOON was directed in 1970 by italian director Mario Bava.
A group of businessmen are trapped on a desert island with no means to escape. As in Agatha Christies's AND THEN THERE WERE NONE, characters are murdered one by one by an unknown killer.
This movie, unique in Bava's discography, will surprise the average giallo fan because the murders are committed off-screen. A curiosity.
