| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Diary of a Chambermaid |
The great spanish director shot DIARY OF A CHAMBERMAID in France in 1964 with Jeanne Moreau ( Jules et Jim ) and Michel Piccoli.
Adapted from the Octave Mirbeau novel, the movie relates the adventures of a chambermaid coming from Paris in order to work in a rich family of the french country. As usual, Luis Bunuel's unique world finds its place in this social study.
Highly recommended.
