Review Summary and Plot Commentary about The Waterboy
Adam Sandler plays a college student who starts out as the waterboy for his football team. He is made fun of so much that one day he suddenly snaps and lays a big hurt (sorry, Frank Thomas) on the mockers. The coach likes that so much that he offers Sandler a spot on the team. After that, he becomes a lean, mean, hard-hitting sack machine. In fact, he sets an NCAA record for most sacks in a game (11 in one game). Of course, this is an Adam Sandler film, so get ready to laugh out loud at his wild and crazy antics!
--Teddy, Resident Scholar

This movie bases a story of a strange waterboy. He seeks revenge for his bad youth as a waterboy by playing against his former coach while fighting family battles too. Events often done in a funny manner.
--Jim , Resident Scholar

Bobby Boucher(Adam Sandler)is a 31 year old waterboy for a Louisana college football team who is a bit slow. Upon being fired from the college, he aplies at another college as waterboy. But the coach(Henry Winkler)one day finds out the he is a great tackler. He is put on the team, and tries to get the team's horrible losing streak in the past. In addition he has to keep his football playing a secret from his crazy backwoods mama(Kathy Bates).
--Will Dame, Resident Scholar
